SCS SB 4 -- KANSAS CITY POLICE SALARIES; RELEASE OF DRIVER'S
INFORMATION

This bill changes salary ranges for various levels of police
officers in Kansas City.

The bill also prohibits the Department of Revenue from releasing
information contained in its motor vehicle or driver
registration records regarding any peace officer.  An exception
is made to allow the release of information if the officer holds
a class A, B, or C commercial driver's license pursuant to the
Motor Carrier Safety Improvement Act of 1999.
